This romantic comedy is set in a mythical town in far northern Maine and is known for its funny take on life and love.

ALMOST, MAINE was developed by The Cape Cod Theatre Project and made its premiere at the Portland Stage Company.

The New York Times honors ALMOST, MAINE as " . . . a whimsical approach to the joys and perils of romance. Magical happenings bloom beneath the snowdrifts." And The Star-Ledger calls it "A charmer . . . Unexpected magic lingers in the air like someone's breath on a cold winter's night. John Cariani aims for the heart by way of the funny bone."

Rob Juergens will direct this play, which will be produced by Janet Ver Planck, Jyselle Watkins and Lew Krainin. The show will take place on January 27-29, 2012 on the Mayfair stage at the Magic Lantern Theater in Bridgton.
